There's a good reason for the cheapy feel of this nokia body, because its made from recycled plastic! I think that's the trade-off and considering with 'green tech' rage nowadays, it's not that bad ,especially if you also feel like environmental conscious,etc..

to those guys having problems with the fone restarting.. you may want to uprade yer firmware because those with v11 firmware will have loads of bugs in them.. with the v12 (which is the latest) the only problem i experienced so far was the flicker screen when yer tweaking or accessing the contacts bar on the homescreen.

Thanks for the excellent review.
How bout doing reviews based on drop testing/destructive testing?
That would give an idea of how phones look after using for an year.
Some demo handsets at the shops show clear signs pointing out where the wear and tear occurs. So, a test like this would be a good idea.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-07-03 12:14 from vmxtyes, it's really 600 MHz... I try it when installing application, play Crash Nitro Kart 3D and Assasin's Creed HD, the gameplay was smoother than E75 that I tried these games before, theme effect transitions was smoother too... I wonder if this phone's update software is available...

Btw this phone does have stereo speakers and is indicated in the Nokia website. The review wrongly states that the phone does not have stereo speakers. The speakers are on the back, side by side to each other.

> In reply to Anonymous @ 2009-07-12 07:21 from nhU1if you find the audio out dissapointing then why not try buying a better headphone? i'd suggest any in-ears from sennheiser or UE.. im not bad mouthing shure but i find their cables flimsy and easy to break, but sound quality is dame good of course.

What about the music player? Is it loud enough? I know Nokia has produced some powerful devices in the past and I'm wondering if that's the case with 5630 too. I own a Sony Ericsson W880i and I'm very disappointed with the Walkman player; you can hardly listen to the song when there's lot of noise, even at full volume!
I wonder how can anyone even compare Nokia and SE...
