ok just got the phone yesterday, today im sending it to the service centre. :< count me unlucky but when i slide the keyboard out to input a msg the screen will tilt to 1 side, however when i slide it back it just stay there. simply refuse to tilt back. i tried to refresh the software and restore factory setting but nothing change, got really disappointed with this phone.

when i read the specifications i saw that 5730 has got a battery life of 300h(2g). but when i read the one of its disadvatages was that it has poor battery life. in my opinion it is not a poor battery life.
is it???

i have had many many symbian nokias starting 3650 and using n86 at moment and htc touch pro..The trouble is after n95,n958gb n82,,n96 5800 and so on i have become bored and looking at e72 as next fone until i came across this fone in said below mag...I think i will give it a go..

I get a mag every month its just changed its name to smartfone essentials and rarly ever gives a 9/10 and never a 10/10 ..well in this issue the 5730 gets 9/10..

This phone is great! The camera may be 3.2 mp but the pics are quite great! The music plays best on the headset with bass booster on! The keyboard rocks but doesnt work with mxit.....wonder why! The designis a master piece, I get complements from everyone i come accross especially when i slide the key board out......... Ohh and im the first person to get it in SA.... The local cell shops dont have it *grinning*

before everyone reaches for the electric drill,,it will make zero difference to the volume,,zero difference to the tone,,the 5730 just wont get any louder,,it is what it is,,i have done it and did a good job of it,,but no difference at all,,nothing

Use a manual hand drill (like a screw driver hand drill), it will reduce the risk of cracking or over torquing. It don't look half bad either. Just look on the inside of the back cover and you will see an 'outline' of where the speaker is aligned on the opposite side of the speaker. I would drill like 2 to 3 holes and keep them close to the edge for best sound.
