IF AND ONLY IF the Omnia 2 UI works fast and smooth like the iPhone with finger only, its web browser scrolls smoothly and renders fast, more RAM for multi tasking apps (VERY IMPORTANT to me), a dedicated graphics chip, 30fps recording with good audio, and makes everything the same or better than the Omnia i900 then I'll buy it.

I have seen many complaints about the Omnia over the last few months all over the web. My personal opinion...AN EXCELLENT PHONE!!! I got the EXPERIA only recently and was fairly disappointed seeing that I am a HUGE SE fan since the Ericsson R380s, P800, P900, etc. Don't get me wrong. It is still a decent phone (Great graphics). I am used to a very versatile phone and the OMNIA is exactly that once you get familiar with it. Running SpB Mobile Shell as UI and now love the phone more than ever! It will be very hard to part with it eventually.

tell a Phone which specs come close to it? Forget it, u won´t find any, HTC touch Pro2 doesn´t come close to Omnia 2 and Omnia pro, they have only the keyboard common. The 2 Omnias rule and are IMHO the actual Windows Mobile Kings

Good move on Samsung to launch these earlier, as these will be direct competition with HTC TP2 and TD2. I just hope that with Samsung's ability, it will launch this with more competitive prices than HTC.

I have the samsung omnia i900 which I have at times found unreliable when using the web option on it for example when trying to stream any videos it is impossible to do as they never play. would like to think the new omnia will be better but guess I will have to wait and see.
